The pandemic has generated a severe economic, social and health crisis never seen before. Among those affected are the grocers (“los bodegueros”) – our friends and partners who sell our products. As key actors in the basic goods supply chain, they put their health at risk during the pandemic. To help them stay safe, Pilsen Callao, the brand that does everything for friendship, sacrificed its iconic green labels, producing 57 million black and while labels to create monetary efficiencies. That saved money allowed us to provide over a million face masks and raise awareness about sanitary measures.
